• Receipt images may be processed either on your device or securely transmitted to our servers or trusted third-party services for OCR/AI processing.
• Images are not permanently stored after processing is complete.
• Basic usage analytics may be stored to help improve app performance.
• We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect data in transit.

4. Permissions

The App uses the following permissions:

Camera

Used only when you choose to take a photo of a receipt.

Read Media Images (Android)

Used only when you manually select a receipt image from your gallery. We do not access any other photos or files.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may use trusted third-party OCR or AI platforms to process receipt images. These services process data only to provide their functionality and do not store or use your data for other purposes.

6. Children’s Privacy

Receipt Splitter is intended for users over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Choices

You may:

• Decline permissions (some features will not work).
• Delete the app at any time to remove all locally stored data.
